Member Group of the Year 2024

Volunteer of the Year award 2024
Marjory D’Arcy has been involved with the Grampian 50+ Network since its inception in 1998 and has led it for the past 15 years. Her network consists of more than 40 accessible walking groups with around 1,000 members spread across north east Scotland.
Jess Barrow Award for Campaigning and Influencing 2024
Willy Gilder is a retired radio journalist who has campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness of dementia after being diagnosed with the disease a few years ago.
Patrick Brooks Award for Best Partnership Working 2024
The Musical Memories Project in the Western Isles is a partnership made up of the Western Isles Community Care Forum, Alzheimer Scotland, the Leverburgh Care Home, the Harris House Care Home and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar (Western Isles Council).
Services to Older People award 2024
Networking Key Services (NKS) is a health and welfare organisation offering a wide range of services to empower and support older members of the South Asian and ethnic minority communities in Edinburgh.
Inspiration Award 2024
Before Michael Gettins brought Pride to Arran there was no obvious hub for the island’s LGBTQ+ community. Michael, an older member of the community himself, led the inaugural event in 2023 and this year Arran Pride attracted more than 300 people.
