Making Cinema Dementia Inclusive

Dementia Inclusion

If you are a Scottish-based community organisation offering or looking to offer cinema screenings that are inclusive of people living with dementia, why not join our workshop? We will focus on what the benefits are for people living with dementia, factors that may need to changed to make your screenings more inclusive and how to communicate and promote your screenings. It is a great opportunity to share your experiences and develop understanding.

This 2 hour training course is free. Sessions are limited to 16 participants. Organisations may send more than one participant: these must be registered separately and if there is excess demand, a cap of two participants per organisation may be applied. If you would like to organise a video conference session for your whole group at a different time, please email dementiatraining@agescotland.org.uk

If you have not previously attended one of our dementia courses, we recommend first undertaking one of the 'Dementia Awareness' workshops we run (either 2 or 3 hours), as this is a great introduction to the topic!
