Mood and Wellbeing 11th November 2024

Training

Do you work or volunteer with a community group or service that supports people living with dementia?  You maybe an unpaid carer of someone living with dementia.   If so, this workshop may be of interest to you.

We will consider:

•       The factors that can cause change in mood for people living with dementia

•       What might help improve mood for people living with dementia

•       The benefits of meaningful activities for mood improvement

Training is free. Sessions are limited to 16 participants. Organisations may send more than one participant: these must be registered separately and if there is excess demand a cap of two participants per organisation may be applied. If you would like to organise a video conference session for your whole group at a different time, please email dementiatraining@agescotland.org.uk

The session will take place via video conference and the joining instructions will be sent to you in advance of the session.

If you have not previously attended one of our dementia courses, we recommend first undertaking one of the 'Dementia Awareness' workshops we run (either 2 or 3 hours), as this is a great introduction to the topic!
