Hydration matters

Claim your free* water bottle when you sign up to the Priority Services Register!

This summer, we’ve joined the wave and partnered with Scottish Water to encourage  everyone to top up from the tap to stay hydrated, and highlight the vital water and waste water services we all use in our daily lives which are essential for good health and hygiene.

Join the Scottish Water Priority Services Register and receive a FREE water bottle!*

Should you require extra support if your water or waste water services were to be disrupted, we’d encourage you to sign up to Scottish Water’s Priority Services Register.

Scottish Water has 200 water bottles to give away to those who may benefit from being on their Priority Services Register.

How to sign up to the Priority Services Register and receive your free water bottle

Call the Age Scotland Helpline on 0800 12 44 222 (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm) or visit Scottish Water Priority Services Register

How water helps your body work
Every cell in your body needs enough water to work properly. Being properly hydrated helps your body to:

  • maintain the right temperature
  • regulate blood pressure
  • flush out toxins
  • support your immune system
  • digest your food
  • move oxygen and nutrients around your body
  • keep your skin healthy

*Please note, water bottles are limited to one bottle per household for new sign ups to Scottish Water’s PSR and are offered on a first come first served basis while stocks last.

If you can, please make a donation today. Any amount, no matter how large or small, will allow us to continue our vital work and to be there for older people who need us today, tomorrow and in the weeks and months to come.

We rely on the generosity of supporters and everyone in Scotland who cares about the safety and wellbeing of older people.
