The Big Knit

6 smoothie bottles wearing small knitted hats stood on a table.

The Big Knit 2025 is here!

Simply little hats, that make a big difference.

We are asking our supporters to take up their knitting needles and crochet hooks as part of our Big Knit campaign in partnership with Innocent Smoothies and Age UK.

Taking part is easy. Simply knit or crochet little hats for the tops of innocent smoothie bottles. Every hat you knit ensures a 30p donation from Innocent Smoothies to Age Scotland. It’s a great way to help us provide much-needed services and support to older people across Scotland.

Key Dates

The Big Knit is now live! Grab your needles and get knitting!  You're welcome to send your wonderful little creations to Age Scotland at any time from now on, but all hats must reach us no later than 16th June 2025.

2. Knit away
Coorie in at home with your wool and needles, get together with friends and have a knit and natter or maybe it’s something new for you to learn with your children or grandchildren. There are lots of fun ways to get involved.
