Fundraising ideas
From bake sales to duck races, there are a variety of ways to raise money for our vital services. Choose one of our ideas below or come up with your own. Our fundraising team will always be here to support your efforts.
Afternoon Tea
Get the kettle on and invite your friends, family or work colleagues to join you for tea and cake – in return for a donation of course.
Bake Sale
Host a bake sale in your office or local community. Whether it's cakes, cookies, muffins or croissants, baking something delicious for others to enjoy feels good and it’s even better when you know your efforts will support our work.
Burns night
Host a Burns Dinner (celebrating Scotland’s Bard, Robert Burns) on or around 25 January for your friends, family or colleagues. Sell tickets or ask for a donations.
Fashion Show
Host a fashion show or a clothes swap with support from local clothes shops or designers and ask spectators for a donation.
Give something up
Block out chocolate, say no to sweets or go alcohol free for a month. Set the right challenge for you and ask your friends and family to sponsor your efforts.
Holiday day
Check with the boss first, then hold a silent auction at work to earn an extra holiday day.
Pub Quiz
Are you a pub quiz whizz? Line up your trickiest trivia to host a quiz night to raise funds.
Sweets in a jar
Put a load of sweeties in a jar and ask colleagues or friends to donate a small amount to guess the number. The winner gets the jar of sweets!
Sweepstake
Get even more invested in your favourite sporting event or TV contest by holding a sweepstake with your friends, family or colleagues.
