Help us to tackle loneliness and social isolation
Our statistics have revealed that 218,000 over 50s in Scotland say they feel lonely all or most of the time. Here at Age Scotland, we aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation on a practical level through our Community Connecting Service – and we need your help!
Community Researchers support older adults across Scotland by researching organisations that offer friendship, social activities, health and fitness groups, events.
Your role will involve researching relevant opportunities, contacting organisations by phone and email and helping to keep our databases up to date.
Whether you want to develop your skills, try something new or just make a difference – this role is for you!
