Open Workshop Terms and Conditions

Booking and Invoicing

• All workshop dates are subject to availability.
• Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate at the time of booking and may be adjusted if the VAT rate changes.
• For clients who request to be invoices, an invoice will be issued to the contact provided.
• For clients who request to pay by card, your place will be provisionally reserved for up to three working days. During this period, we will attempt to contact you by phone at least once to take card payment, followed by an email reminder if we are unsuccessful. If payment is not received within the three-day window, your place will be released.

Attendees and Content

• All participants must be registered and pre-booked with Age Scotland.
• Workshop content and joining instructions will be provided to attendees prior to the workshop.
• Age Scotland reserves the right to change speakers or content at short notice if necessary.
• Recording of workshops in any form is strictly prohibited.

Cancellations and Postponements

• No refunds will be issued for non-attendance on the day of the workshop.
• Refunds or discounts will not be provided for attendees arriving late or leaving early.
• If an individual requests to reschedule their place more than 7 days in advance, Age Scotland will transfer them to another workshop where possible.  Attendees can only be rescheduled once.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop will not be refunded.
• Age Scotland reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops in exceptional circumstances, including under-subscription. In such cases, alternative dates will be offered, or a refund will be provided.
