Call for Dumfries election hustings attendees

Age Scotland is inviting older people to attend an election hustings in Dumfries on 16 April 2012. 
The event will be held at St George's Church, Dumfries, DG1 1EJ. Please arrive at 12.45pm for a 1.30pm start. 
Panelists at the event are Councillor Rob Davidson (SNP), Councillor Richard Brodie (Liberal Democrats) and councillor candidates from the Conservatives and Labour to be confirmed. 
Callum Chomczuk, Senior Policy and Parliamentary Officer, said: "This is an ideal opportunity for older people in the local community to hold their councillors to account and to ask the questions that matter to them. Representatives from the main political parties will be attending, so there will be ample opportunity to discuss important local issues."
