Brian Sloan said:
"I am absolutely delighted to be able to present our worthy winners with their awards in person after a two year hiatus caused by the Covid pandemic.
"It has been humbling to hear just how great an impact our winners have on the lives of older people in communities across Scotland. The tributes paid to them by those they support is testament to their dedication to the wellbeing of older people.
"Our winners provide services, friendship, respite and social activities that reduce loneliness and isolation and help older people stay connected. For many, they are a lifeline.
"I'd like to thank each and every one of them for generosity, compassion and selflessness. Congratulations on your awards and very well done."
