Independence debate Q&A
Regardless of which side of the independence debate you fall on, there is no doubt that 18 September 2014 will be a historic date for our country.
While Age Scotland is remaining neutral, the charity is clear that older people must be given the information they need with which to make an informed decision.
As part of this, Age Scotland put a series of questions to both the ‘Better Together' and ‘Yes' campaigns. The questions were drawn together from suggestions received from older people, along with input from Age Scotland's policy team. They range from pension security to the armed forces, and from the BBC to global embassies, and, while we could not fully cover every question people will have, we hope they will be a useful source of information.
