We have utilised our unique brand of expertise in age related workplace training to develop a skills development workshop for line managers on menopause at work.

Did you know:

• 10% of menopausal women with troublesome symptoms will leave their job.
• 6 in 10 menopausal women say their symptoms have had a negative effect on their working life. 
• Women over the age of 50 are the fastest growing segment of the workforce.

With our partners at The University of Edinburgh Business School and HR Specialists we have designed a suite of products that reflect workplace needs around menopause:

Menopause at Work: Tools and Techniques for Managers

This 3-hour, interactive, skills-development workshop for line managers will provide an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of menopause in the workplace. We will share the tools and techniques managers need to engage their colleagues in menopause related conversations and become an effective leader of an intergenerational team.

As a result of attending this workshop, attendees will:

• Develop their understanding of what the menopause is, its symptoms and how to recognise them
• Become more aware of the present position in relation to Menopause and the law
• Learn how to start or respond to conversations around the menopause in a positive way
• Be able to explore ways to encourage open and honest communication that does not automatically lead to a discussion of performance
• Be able to identify a range of reasonable adjustments to support colleagues who are experiencing menopausal symptoms
