VR Dementia Empathy Experience

AIW VR experience headsets

Our Virtual Reality Dementia Experience Workshop uses the power of shared VR to immerse participants in the daily challenges faced by people living with dementia, building empathy and deeper understanding

By immersing participants in virtual environments, this workshop demonstrates how thoughtful design can enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia.

Using state-of-the-art VR headsets, participants explore a virtual residential home and domestic kitchen, experiencing common dementia-related challenges such as reduced vision. This shared VR session, developed with our partner VR-EP, allows colleagues to navigate these environments together, deepening empathy and understanding.
