Take Five to Age Well Challenge

Take Five Group Ladies

Empowering all in Scotland take simple steps toward longer, healthier, and happier lives.

We’re excited to share our new health and wellbeing challenge, launching on 1st May 2025 in partnership with The Open University.

Take Five to Age Well aims to empower everyone to make small daily changes for better ageing in the areas of nutrition (Eat), hydration (Drink), physical activity (Move), boosting brain health (Think) and social connection (Connect and Engage).

You can register as an individual on The Open University portal from 7th April 2025, where you will find a menu of suggested personal pledges supported by scientific evidence.  If you register online, you'll receive tips and inspiration to help you keep your personal healthy ageing pledge over 31 consecutive days in May, and beyond.

Learn more about the challenge

Staying active, engaged, well nourished and hydrated, and using your brain are key components to successful ageing. We all want to have a life well lived and simple things can help us in that quest. Take Five to Age Well provides prompts and tips to ageing well and presents them in an easy to follow format with fun ways to ensure you can take control of your ageing journey. We all need reminders and motivation to make small changes and this campaign does just this.
